Mad for Plaid

I grabbed these slacks at the thrift shop a couple weeks ago for $1.50. They fit great in the waist but, as you can clearly see, the length falls a bit short (yeah, pun entirely intended).

But just look at the gold sparkly houndstooth-plaid-y fabric!

So I decided to make them into some cute shorts for the summertime. First I chopped off the legs, and I'm going to reuse the cuffs.

I stuck the cuffs into the abbreviated leg, folded the edges under, pinned, and seamed.

Then I folded the cuffs upward and gave them a couple quick stitches on either side to keep them there.

And we're all done!

  1. Genius! I wouldn't have thought of reusing the cuffs but I love it. Great re-work!

  2. It happens when the power goes out or your document closes unexpectedly, and the Word Document has some technical recommendations that can be used to restore these documents, as well as methods that part of their data does save in cache, which helps us to get them back. How to Recover Unsaved Word Document We frequently rely on Word Document's autosave feature, presuming it saves your document, and in this process, the complete written document may be lost if you do not work on evaluating it.
