Thrift Style Thursday: Fifties Fanfare

To make up for having missed Thrift Style Thursday last week, I'm going for double credit today! Last week's theme, provided by Kristi, was Fanfare - a day to geek out and dress up like your favorite movie or television character. And today's theme, from our newest member, Amalia, is The Grandest Decade, i.e., the Fifties! Lucky for me, these two themes fit perfectly with one another as one of my new favorite characters and style icons is Zooey Deschanel on New Girl!

I just adore her wardrobe! The dreamy dresses, cute cardis, fun flats, playful patterns. And so much of her stuff has a very vintage vibe too!

The more I watch of the show, the stronger I feel that Jessica Day is my spirit animal. She's nerdy, awkward, maybe a little naive. She frequently finds her foot squarely in her mouth. She's constantly singing completely random things for no apparent reason. Me in a nutshell.

    1. Why, thank you! I thought about doing a plain white belt and bag, but I'm glad I didn't!
