Thrift Style Thursday: Au Naturale

This week we're going au naturale, thanks to Kristi, of Delightfully Kristi! She asked us to put together an outfit inspired by nature, to don our favorite earthy hues.

Now, I've got earthtones in my wardrobe, sure, but as I flipped through the hangers, none of them seemed to reflect nature, at least not as I see it at this time of year. So I tried to stick to the spirit, if not the letter, of the challenge.

Now is the time of year when everything around these parts turns a ridiculous shade a green and the wildflowers begin to bloom. So I pulled out my green, flowered tank top.

Now is the time of year when my legs still maintain their winter pallor. So I slapped on my white skinnies.

Now is the time of year when the sky takes on a tone that rivals the brightest gems. So I grabbed my turquoise necklace, malachite ring, and green jasper earrings.

Now is the time of year when the bright yellow sun warms the air and reminds us the summer heat is just around the corner. So I carried my Wilson Leather bag along for the ride!

    1. Spring may have sprung early here, but I'd much rather get all the snow you guys get than all the dreadful heat we'll be getting all too soon! For the time being though, it is quite lovely here. I should enjoy it while it lasts!

    1. Thanks, Kristi! Maybe not the earthy tones you had in mind, but I think the outfit fit the setting nicely at least.
