Carissa --- You have been so busy! The "zickzack" socks and the spring shawl are very attractive in color and design. You are also becoming a whiz at counted x-stitch. The birth sampler for your pup is intense for a newbie. I surely appreciate seeing your original works and, now, you have also added poetry !
ReplyDeleteWell, the zickzacks aren't my design and I'd hardly call the above "poetry", but thanks! ;)
DeleteLove the poem! I know what I wish...that I could Knit! But I really, really don't need to take on another craft (I know I keep saying that every time you post a beautiful new project)

Come to the dark side. We have yarn. :D
DeleteWe have one more cold snap coming -- just in time for your golden little shawl.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I did not expect it to get this chilly again! We'll see how long it sticks around.
DeleteWhat a beauty! I haven't worn a shawl since my high school prom. Actually I didn't wear it then, either - I carried it into/out of the venue and that was all. But IF I was to wear a shawl these days, this is the kind I would want :)
ReplyDeleteI typically wear my knitted shawls more like a scarf anyway. Seldom do I actually drape them around my shoulders like a formal shawl.
