How awesome is this zipper necklace of my Granma's? That's actually a working zipper, so the ends of the necklace can be pulled through like a bolo tie.
This outfit is, perhaps, a bit springy for October, but you know what? Too bad! It's my birthday, and I'll wear what I want!
Top: refashioned // Pants: $7 thrifted // Shoes: $5 Yerdle // Necklaces: inherited from Granma // Earrings: me-made

DeleteHappy birthday Carissa! Sorry I couldn't join in on your party-I was sick, and couldn't get the pictures done. :( But I love the outfit, and totally go for the springy look! Who cares if it isn't spring? Love the color of your pants especially!

I know! I don't mind the not-quite-so-hot weather, but I'd really love some genuine fall weather soon!

DeleteHi Carissa!
ReplyDeleteHappy (late) Birthday!!!
Great outfit! You know when you said:"It's my birthday, and I'll wear what I want!", I laughed a lot, because you remebered me of the song of Lesley Gore "It's My Birthday (And I Cry if I Want To)... hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Not that you are going to cry... :D
I just LOVE your shoes!!!!! <3
kisses from Portugal!
Thanks, Helena! I remember that song too!
DeleteOne doubt: the platform YERDLE is just for America, or people outside America can sign up? Thanks
ReplyDeleteRight now, they only offer shipping within the continental United States, but it looks like they have a mailing list for international updates, if you're interested.
