Everyone has big sloppy unisex t-shirts laying around for those days you just don't want to think about what to wear. But those lazy days don't have to mean looking frumpy. You can take those plain old shirts and convert them to fitted baby-doll tees. Here's how!

Here we have another clothes swap score. You may be questioning the "score" part, but trust me, with its lightweight cotton fabric, this will make the perfect tee for a Texas summer. And now you're questioning the "summer" bit, yeah? Well, although we reveled in a rare snowfall only a week ago, it is currently 77F/25C outside. Not summer yet, but it looms on the horizon to be sure. But enough about the weather, let's talk refashion!

This tunic is another piece I swiped up at the last second at the October clothes swap. I liked the bright peachy color and the embroidery, but it's really unflattering on me. I've found that I'm too short-waisted to pull off a top like this. I've decided to turn this thing on its head!

This lovely Liz Claiborne number was a risky purchase. I only spent $3 on it, but I worked hard to convince myself that I could make something of it. I brought it home from the thrift shop still without a solid plan, merely a vague image of a skirt of some sort. It sat in my refashion pile for months before the light bulb finally came on - a sexy-librarian pencil skirt!
Least flattering picture ever, but
it really conveys my feelings for
the Before condition of the dress.
